Chloe is a true fashionista and since her initials, CC, are the same as one of her fashion icons, Coco Chanel, it was the perfect inspiration for her theme. We kicked it all off with a fabulous fashion shoot in Tribeca, and the west side for a magnificent sunset session along the Canal Street pier. Together we created timeless images that were used at her party at the Old Oaks Country Club. Guests were asked to dress “Runway Chic” and the Cornell family certainly looked the part.
Chloe has great style and looked fabulous in her white cocktail dress with tulle and pearl accents. Brother Zac’s suit was from Aquascutum, Mom Kim wore a J. Mendel Atelier gown, Bat Mitvah girl Chloe’s cocktail dress was designed by Campanella Couture and purchased from Best Dressed NY, and Dad Michael’s suit was from Ermenegildo Zegna.
Lawrence Scott Events created the dramatic decor. The linens, chargers and plates were all carefully selected and everything blended beautifully for this luxurious haute-couture celebration. Chloe’s “CC” logo on the dance floor and an elegant crystal chandelier hanging above, were focal points in the ballroom.
Chloe produced a real fashion show at her party with models dressed in different looks from Chloe’s “fashion line.” Chloe’s family followed and then Chloe entered on a surfboard!
More Than Music dancers were very creative incorporating the theme with their makeup and MC Jared had fun with Chloe and her guests on the dance floor rocking laser glases to thrill the guests. At the end of the evening, guests walked into a Chanel-like boutique area and were invited to “go shopping” for branded T-shirts and scarves, gold slinkys, boxed desserts and from the famous NYC bakery, Momofuku Milk Bar, B-day truffles. Chloe’s friend’s also received logo’d sweatshirts and an American Apparel weekender bag. Mazel Tov Chloe – you are fabulous!
