It was the cutest birthday party ever! My favorite little Remington had her 5th birthday party last week at The Plaza Hotel and invited her graduating Kindergarten class to the [pretend] prom!
Tike-sized guests were directed to pink tables of “corsages & boutonnieres.” Then they were directed to gold tables of “girls accessories” (jewels & purses) and white tables of “boys Accessories”(watches & wallets). Finally, mime paparazzi played with the kids to help them get ready for their photos on the red carpet – just like at the real prom.
Everyone was treated to a real show featuring a marching band, stilt walkers, nutty professor juggling/unicycle, and cheerleaders in pink and gold costumes singing a special cheer, “Rah Rah Remington” and “Sis Boom Bah Class of 2014” before handing out pom poms & megaphones to the kids to kick-off a mega 5 year-old dance party. Remington was indeed the belle of the ball and proved it by singing the entire version of “Frozen” to all her guests. Happy Birthday Remy!
