The Algarve coast line stretches about 100 miles from the western-most tip to the Spanish border, and as well as being most well known for its expansive and extensive beaches of fine golden sands, you will also find some of the most dramatic cliff faces and rock-formations in the world.
The western coastline juts out into the Atlantic is a rugged, undeveloped area, which has retained its natural charm, and is extremely dramatic, with cliffs of black rock from which Algarvian fishermen cling precariously hundreds of feet above the sea, for hours on end.
I had the incredible opportunity to explore the coast with my camera around sunset and captured some really beautiful images that are some of my own personal favorites. I went back to the source files and redeveloped them with my new black and white tools and have essentially created some fine art gems. Contact me if you are interested in having some of these mounted/framed or printed on metal for your home.
