Ocho Rios, Jamaica was the ultimate family winter break with sunshine, warmth, good vibes and the Jamaican way of life to renew your spirit.
The name “Scotch on the Rocks” reflects both the villa’s history and location. Sitting on the rocks just above the Caribbean Sea, “Scotch on the Rocks” was originally owned by a Scottish Lord. In the 1980s, the Earl of Mansfield sold the house to a Jamaican family, renowned for founding Red Stripe Beer. Today, Scotch on the Rocks is still owned by members of that family.
“Scotchie,” as the villa is affectionately called, is ideal for family vacations or romantic getaways. The villa is extremely private and has a full staff of four, including a cook, waiter, butler and housekeeper. Visit Scotch on the Rocks, and treat your mind, body and soul to a vacation in paradise – https://www.scotchontherocksja.com Yoga in the morning, hours of tennis in the afternoon, day trips along the coast and rum punch at night…it was the best winter break!
One of our day trips wias to the Blue Hole so the kids could rock dive into the crystal blue grottos and waterfalls. The kids got to play some Jamaican soccer.
Chillin’ at the villa was one of our favorite things to do.
Coastline boating was led by “Spida-MON” our navigator who took us to pristine beaches.
Of course the kids had to do some Jamaican bobsledding!
Team Scotchie! We got so close with our friends Bryan, Miss Cheri, Elvis, Richard, Pat – they made our experience so comfortable and unforgettable. Thank you so much to Leslie for this incredible stay. (Missing Amir and Isaac from this photo, they had to leave early.)
Just want to say how much we truly loved Jamaica. The people are so genuine and kind and show no cares in the world – and that’s why it’s our favorite Island in the Carribean. Ya Mon!!!
