Had a fabulous lunch today at the home of Harriette Rose Katz for an intimate round-table discussion entitled, “Lunch with a FEW Friends.” Sublime food was served by executive chef Julian Alonzo from Neuman’s Kitchen. The lunch included jumbo lump crab cake with stone ground mustard sauce. lemon roasted chicken roulade with pan juice, matouf cousous, eggplant caponata. and a trio of sorbets…..mango, coconut and chocolate with a cookie tuile – insanely delicious. We discussed trends, outrageous parties, humble yet endearing weddings, and our most memorable events. Thank you Harriette Rose Katz for including me in the very first “Lunch with a FEW Friends.” Great to hear amazing stories from Marc Jason, Mark Rose, Peter Markowitz, Carla Ruben, Marianne Bennett, Stephen Frost and Michael Waiser. Though I was mesmorized by the treasure trove of stories told by the legend herself, Harriette.
